CASTING DIRECTOR
'Casting Director' may be the official title, but Mel prefers to think of herself as a collaborator, host, observer, researcher, negotiator, problem solver, investigator and team player. Maybe also add magician. With a quick calculation, her casting career has afforded her the opportunity to conduct over 100,000 auditions and she still gets a kick out of saying ‘action’ and ‘cut’. She is a founding member of the Casting Guild of Australia and has been on the Executive Committee since 2013. She also launched TheBizBook © in 2017 - Australia’s first and only online resource directory for actors.

Pat graduated with honours from the Flinders University Drama Centre in 2016 where he was professionally trained for stage and screen. Coming from a performance background, he loves working opposite other actors in auditions and bringing a sense of play to the room. "The best days at work are the ones when someone brings a dog into the studio."
